The ‘happening’ cinema
During the summer of 2021, Chiswick Cinema (part of Trafalgar Entertainment Group) underwent a huge refurbishment, turning this listed building into one of the foremost and exciting Cinemas in the UK.
Caffe Praego were selected to supply the coffee service with suitable traditional coffee machines that would WOW the new Chiswick Cinema membership and customers. The Chiswick team loved the look and feel of the Conti Coffee machine range for their main bar and the member’s bar.
After a series of tastings with their senior team at our Academy, they chose Caffe Praego’s sensational award winning Inzozi Connoisseurs Blend, sourced direct from Rwandan growers.
Chiswick also wanted to offer an exciting range of Frappes, Cocktails, Mocktails, and flavoured Iced Drinks, so we turned to our good friends at Beyond the Bean who came to Praego Academy & demonstrated their range to the team.

Prior to the completion of our newly restored Chiswick Cinema, we carefully researched the market for a world class supplier that could offer a complete hot drinks service, including ethically sourced, & very high quality coffee beans as well as equipment supply and after sales service.
We were really impressed with Caffe Praego Coffee Company who together with their sister company Hallmark were able to come up with a “one stop” solution. We chose the popular Conti CC100 coffee machines with Compak grinders and two machines were duly installed before we opened, along with comprehensive training for our new team.
We loved the quality of the bean but also the fantastic work Caffe Praego do with the Point Foundation in supporting schools & communities near their Inzozi bean growers, with a wide range of funding projects involving education and special needs children.
The hot drinks service has now been live for 12 months and we have been absolutely delighted with the quality of drinks, the speed of service & support that Caffe Praego & Hallmark have provided.
