#kwibuka29 In 1994, the country where we buy 80% of Praego coffee from went through one of the worst ever genocide massacres. The history is well documented, as is the utter lack of help from the rest of the world. #Rwanda has rebuilt itself, by itself, it's people united & working together in peace, driven by the symbolism on their post-genocide national flag. Their coffee industry has also helped heal the nation, enhancing community unison through collectively working together. This painting is on the wall of one of the schools Praego coffee supports.
